Think about basketball vernacular, even when Bran stans like Shannon Sharpe discuss basketball they use phrases like "Kobe Mode" and "Mamba Mentality". Kobe is immortalized as part of popular culture and will be referenced long after Lebron's gone.

the ONLY thing people will remember Lebron for is his stats. that is his entire legacy.

Kobe had better individual competition during his prime which accounts for less MVP awards. He also played in the most defensive era ever, hence the poorer statistics.

Kobe was better, straight up. Real hoop heads will always know that.

Back when Galileo was first looking at the craters on the moon, the phases of Venus, etc... the intellectuals saw the writing on the wall - they knew the Earth went around the Sun. It didn't matter that the idiot masses still thought the Earth was at the center. Those in the know... knew.

It's the same way with Kobe-LeBron.

No way. Lebron is a far more complete player. I think that's inarguable.

But i agree with OP. Kobe has more of a cooler persona.
