i think 2000 was the best season the nba ever had

was never so excited to watch basketball

the lakers historic run during the regular season. almost getting beat in the first round. the biggest comeback in nba history in game 7 of the WCF. the drama surrounding the finals and kobes injury, his willis reed type return and rookie magic style take over with shaq out

the lob... the hug after winning

the league still had that 80s/90's toughness... players were advanced to the point where half the league had their own MJ style wing for the first time in nba history

it was perfection

Crazy how Kobe was arguably the best player through their Western Conference run that year. 28/4/4 on 56%TS against the Kings, saved us in the Portland series and led the series in assists, steals and blocks over MDE Shaq, game-winning block on Sabonis on the road, leads team in pts, reb, ast & blocks in a Game 7 comeback
