You can't surpass Kobe with a less than 50% finals record despite playing in an easier conference. One man did what was needed to help his team win, while the other choked 6 times. No comparison.

did you know you can manipulate stats and hurt your team in the process

its about more than chasing rebounds leaving your man wide open or forcing assists in a flawed bran ball offense.. its also about not shying away from attacking the rim late in games because you cant hit a free throw or passing up difficult shots to protect your fg%

lebrons a fraud. his numbers are fake.. watch the games to understand

the bran era is dead

move the **** on

You're talking about manipulating traditional stats--points, assists, rebounds, etc. Value stats take much more than that into account. You don't get high scores in value by padding your points or rebounds. They come out in wins, or in point margins while on the floor.

Right. Bill Russell is the GOAT, Horry is better than MJ, Kerr was the equal of Kobe, and Ty Cobb, Ted Williams and Barry Bonds were all bums who couldn't hold Yogi Berra's jockstrap.

You're going to see more of this stuff now that Lebron is with LA.

It went from the Jordan comparison...and backwards to Kobe again.

We're well aware that Kobe doesnt measure up to any of his contemporaries in stats. This is why we condemn them and harp on eye test and clutchness (while ignoring clutch stats of course).

LeBron's inflated stats in a no defense era this year should tell you exactly what they're talking about.

Kobe's advanced stats are faked by Lebronsexuals on the official pages to make him look worse.

7th in PER and 5th in Box. But 19th in WS and 13th in VORP. So by those stats, he has an argument as top 10-15, not 7th. Maybe will move up in the counting stats if he has several more good seasons. But as a PG heading into his mid-30s, probably not a lot of time left.

But your argument against these stats it typical. "They don't agree with my subjective impressions, so they must be wrong".

Obviously someone who never actually watched Bucks and Sonics Ray. It's amazing that you can still surprise me with your stupidity. You'd think I'd be immune to it by now. Only a complete clown would think Jackson was better than a young and prime Ray with the ball in his hands.

It's definitely a close one. I personally think Kobe was better but I wouldn't argue against someone saying LeBron was. Stats say LeBron, eye test says Kobe (to me) and chips say Kobe.

I also don't have Lebron over Kobe yet, keyword "yet".

The silly MJ/LeBron media debate actually artificially and wrongfully leaped Lebron over other GOAT's when he hadn't truly surpassed them yet either.

I know Lebron stans going to defend him to the death with their stats.

But isn't it funny how now even dudes like Shanon Sharpe are calling Lebron out for his passive-aggressive non-impactful empty stats and asking him to be more aggressive, even if he shoots 10-30, and sacrifice the efficiency to be more aggressive like Kobe.

Yet, these are the same tards that call Kobe selfish and ballhog and hold Lebron to higher standard cause of his efficient stat padding :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Their narratives were never meant to be cohesive or make any sense. They were meant to sell hype and the product which they feed off and earn paychecks from.
