The last time LeBron missed the playoffs a 26 year old Kobe lead the Lakers to a 34 win season in their first year without Shaq.

kobes legacy isnt dependent on 8 straight finals appearances and 9 overall in an inferior conference to make up for having less rings and a losing finals record.

every bran stan says it was due to his ability to carry soup cans and now thats been totally debunked by not making the playoffs in his first real season out west

every phoney narrative has been utterly destroyed.

the false perception that lebron was ever anything but a leastern conference manifestation has been debunked

kobe actually got the job done more often than not in a real conference every single time

no excuses needed

but he was injured for 16 games. odom for 18 games and rudy T quit midway through the season with a winning record and a playoff spot due to health issues. then hamblen took over to tank for bynum

Kobe might've won the Finals that year with TWO lamar odoms like lebron has (kuz, Ingram), and a severe upgrade over smush (rondo).. :confusedshrug:

Lebron has two 20 ppg studs and a bunch of vets.. he's simply underachieving massively - Lakers might not match last seasons win total
