If he wanted to ring a win he would have gone to Philly.

He went to LA for the money and to set up his post playing career.

I hate the Fakers, but there is no comparison between franchises..Clippers before getting cp3 were the worst franchise in sports before Vinny Del Negro and Doc came along and Sterling finally got canned.

You don't get it.

No matter where he goes he magically has no halp and everyone is trash and they all need to be part of a mid season drama in an attempt to shamelessly collude with a superstar and when it fails you face the same teammates the next day and call them "your guys"

Yes but the Clippers brand is horseshit.

The prestige of being a laker vs. a Clipper goes a long way in terms of marketing.

then the clippers are the ones being infected

you can't have lebron and not have everything changed to fit his agenda. then they're the ones with the flawed offense/making random trades/slacking off on defense etc..

Lebron doesnt have the balls to play for a good coach like Doc Rivers

Bran with Embiid and Simmons is a HORRIBLE fit:oldlol: :oldlol:

that team is 2nd round exit at best and ppl would be wondering why theyre underperforming

Neither can shoot well and Embiid takes up the left block to be effective and over the past few years @ PF Bran loves working through the left block and cant play on the perimeter anymore with how bad his defense is and he aint as athletic as he used to be

Fit is a tad overrated when 4 of your starters are elite...Simmons, Butler, LeBron and Embiid. Just too much talent.

It's like when people said Durant/Harden/Westbrook weren't a great fit...they went to the Finals in Harden's 3rd season ffs. That trio was so absurdly good that they made it work.

Actually, yes.

They’re basically the Cavs or Knicks of the West. All time laughing stocks.

Besides staying in Cleveland, I always thought the Clippers was the right choice if it was just about living in LA and being close to his media projects.

We’ve known he’s wanted to live in LA for the past 2 to 3 years. He bought a house there in 2015, bought another house in the same neighborhood a year later. It’s been rumored he was getting ready to leave shortly after Cleveland won their championship in 2016. Everybody knew LA was the destination.

Lakers, and Kobe fans were never going to truly accept him as one of their own. He also would never be able to win them over. Always would be in their shadow. Not enough time, and he was on the downside of his career.

Clippers actually have a really good outlook for the future, he could’ve lived in LA and enjoy the lifestyle he wants out there. Pursue the business projects he wants. And if he elevated the Clips to championship status, it would mean so much more than whatever he could possibly do in the longest lineage of great superstars in any NBA franchise history with the Lakers. He’d immediately be the Clippers greatest all time player. That organization, and fans were never going to be impressed with him. As they were already busy being Kobe diehard fans for the past 13 years hating his guts.

Now all he had accomplished this year is validate their criticisms: that he played in a weak conference, stat padded, needed massive amounts of help, was a coward, and ultimately not a true winner. He feasted on cupcakes yearly. With massive amounts of help.

Him going to LA and failing, as well as not getting anybody else to come out there, because of the toxic situation he brings, all it does is make him look exponentially worse.
