Somehow, some way 95 Pippen isn't discredited for not being able to get a team out of the second round, and that's WITH Michael Jordan returning to the team. No, that's not on Pippen at all, huh?:biggums:

Pippen seems like a nice guy, but there's a limit to the stupidity I will take re. an analysis of his career, particularly his skill. While no one can deny Pippen's all-world defensive impact, he's got to be the worst All-NBA First Teamer I've ever seen live, and you'll have a tough time convincing me he's greater than George Gervin, one of the most offensively skilled players of all time. Pippen had trouble getting 20 most nights. Gervin practically got 20 all the time with his skill set.

Though I must admit, Gervin is in a select few players who did not lead a team to a championship who I'd have to put ahead of Pippen. Almost all of them did. Pippen didn't.

You mean coming off the bench? It is like saying Lebron became an allstar because of Zydrunas Ilgauskas who actually made the team in 2003 and both he and Lebron did in 2005.
