This is it folks....
Can Magic for the love of black Jesus trade that toxic son of a b1tch before the season is over? Dude's gonna sink us for 3 more years...and who knows how many more...

“I do not [think he’s interested in the Lakers]. That’s just what I’ve been told. It’s what I’ve been told going back to last summer. I don’t see that as something that’s happening. I think he goes to the Clippers.”
Second best player in the league, behind Durant (best) want nothing to do with the Lakers. This is insane.

Clippers would become a force if he joins them, they lost CP3 and Blake but the team still managed to compete in the West. Even after trading away Harris they are headed for the PO; I'd love to see Kawhi ending up there.

Been saying it forever....Kawhi will become a Clipper.
KD will become a Clipper or a Knick.

Is it at all a surprise that one of the greatest defenders of all time doesn't want to play with this guy?

Clippers are making playoffs, and Lakers were a complete mess. There is no legit reason for KD to leave GSW or for Kawhi to join the Lakers when he can join a playoff team.
Klay seems like more likely option, but Warriors may choose to pay Klay this summer over Green next summer. That worries me a bit. He would be a perfect fit with Lonzo/LeBron.
As for AD... Pelicans made it clear they won't deal with Lakers in good will. If Celtics put Tatum on the table, they will get AD. If Kyrie leaves Celtics, they may become unwilling to risk a 1yr rental of AD by giving up Tatum. So Kyrie decision may be massive.
That brings us to Kyrie. Keep a very close eye on that. Kyrie apologizing to LeBron opened the door for the two to team up once again. The big advantage with Kyrie is that he can start with Lonzo in backcourt because their strengths are very different. Lonzo is an elite defender who can guard both pgs and sgs & rebound well but is not a scorer. Kyrie is a scorer first who can shoot 3s lights out, get to FT line and is clutch as hell. Both are solid passers (Lonzo is an elite passer with elite court vision) and have high basketball IQ. Lonzo needs to continue work on his conditioning and shooting, maybe add 10 more pounds of muscle to guard bigger sgs.
Lonzo probably can't start alongside someone like Kemba though because their strengths don't complement each other as well as Lonzo/Kyrie or Lonzo/Klay. With adding Kemba, you might have to move Lonzo.

Magic would trade Lebron if he still had some balls left in him.

I know you're currently an outlier in our fanbase when it comes to Lebron's approval ratings but you probably have come to the same conclusion as us. That is, Lebron is the main and only roadblock to signing either of those two players (KD or Kawhi - at the very least one of them). And both players are, currently, much better individual players, younger, with a brighter future ahead than Lebron James.
Wouldn't it make sense then to trade Lebron, to open the doors to either both or one of them as the "face of the franchise"? By keeping Lebron we're literally saying NO to them. It's beyond stupid, it doesn't make basketball sense at all. And the results this season speak volumes to the fact. Next year Bran will have one more year on his decaying body... father time is undefeated.
Do you agree on that?

It's too late to do anything about LeBron -- forget about trading him. There is no guarantee trading LeBron means KD or Kawhi sign with Lakers so just stick with LeBron rather than burn the bridge there & have nothing left. I wish Kawhi was available last summer, but he wasn't. Just have to live with that reality.
I still believe LeBron is elite offensively even though I don't trust him as a leader. He is not clutch and can't carry the team, but he is still talented as hell & experienced veteran. LeBron at 90% at age 35 is better than 99% of the nba. It's not a completely lost cause to have LeBron on your team.

I would agree with you if Bran cut his diva shenanigans, backdoor GMing, and backdoor backstabbing attitude (killing team chemistry). If he focused on ball and winning and letting all that other sh1t go I would be willing to ignore his 0 defense, and would be willing to resign the opportunity cost loss of having signed him vs. the young stars on the market later this year.
Sadly, Bran is who he is. He ain't cutting none of that sh1t... so I won't resign myself to his presence if there is even a slim chance to ship his @ss out. I can digest decreased impact, and lesser effort on defense due to age. I can't digest none of the other sh1t he brings with him - unprofessional.

Clippers are a team built for a superstar. They already have a deep roster full of great support guys. Kahwi would bea perfect fit

Who can you possibly acquire for the long haul by trading LeBron? There are maybe 10 players I would trade him for, but I don't know if any of them are available..
Where it gets icky is trying to get said player to agree to an extension at trade. You don't want to give up LeBron and lose the elite player you traded him for a year later.
I would not be willing to risk all that and potentially end up with nothing a year later. It's too risky and the ship has sailed as I said. LeBron is here, now it's time to look forward.
