View Full Version : 40% leadership or 100% leadership?

Imagine winning five rings and only being the leader twice.

3/3 =100% leadership (LBJ)

2/5 = 40% leadership (Kobe)

...

Besides LeBron, who else is in the 100% leadership category?

3/4 (Shaq) = 75%
3/5 (Magic) = 60%
2/3 (Bird) = 66%
2/3 (Durant) = 66%
2/5 (Kobe) = 40%

*notable:

0/3 (Curry) = 0%

Miley Cyrus also has 0%

KD the snake will match LeBron with 3/3 this year. Not very impressive. (You have KD listed as 2/3 because you're retarded)

Net Rating 2013 Finals

Allen:. +7.3 (https://stats.nba.com/player/951/advanced/?Season=2012-13&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4)
LeFraud:. -0.2 (https://stats.nba.com/player/2544/advanced/?Season=2012-13&SeasonType=Playoffs&PORound=4)

So Lebron was a net negative, while Allen's presence provided the edge the Heat needed to win

And of course, you have to include all Finals appearances, so 2011 counts - he was supposed to win as the leader, but lost as a choking, 2nd option

Finally, anytime a player would've lost without a teammate shot, that series is nullified - so the 2016 Finals, where kyrie hit the winning shot and also carried an equal scoring burden/defensive attention

LeBron was putting up a worse series than 2011 in that series versus the spurs, before rays shot. Check the numbers. Pop was so in his head with the sag strategy it was unbelievable.

Holy crap you're right

Lebron averaged 16.7 on 39% (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jamesle01/gamelog/2013/#132-134-sum:pgl_basic_playoffs) thru 3 games, so he needed Ray to force game 7.. he was 21.6 on 43.6% thru 5 games

They didn't win in 2013 due to the guy who led the team in points/assists/rebounds/steals and dropped 37/12 in Game 7, ok bro :oldlol:

And I guess Jordan's titles in '93 & '97 are nullified too

Lebron was a net negative.. :confusedshrug:... They were a loser when lebron was on the court - that's a fact

Fortunately, Ray was a massive positive, so they won (oh, and he hit the shot that prevented loss).. sorry brah man.. facts are facts

The mental gymnastics it takes to be you is quite impressive. Keep thinking really hard, buddy.

Here's a fact that requires NO mental gymnatics...

MJ was 1-9 in the post season before Scottie came on board.

The Heat produced less points per possession than the Spurs when Lebron was on the floor

Fortunately, they produced much more when Allen was on the floor, allowing them to win despite Lebron's net negative

That's like saying Lebron couldn't make the playoffs until he got Hughes and Brown..

MJ averaged 45 to get the bulls past the 88' first round.. pippen 7.. :oldlol:

LePushed is an amazing leader ...

66% (6/9) leadership in losing finals, including the GOAT chokejob by a top 10 GOAT in 2011, 2 swepts (2007, 2018) and the #1 and #2 largest point differental losses (2018, 2014).

100% leadership in bringing a West team to the lottery

Kobe led all 5 title teams in assists and also led them in FGA in 4 out of 5. He was the floor general and the closer on all 5 title teams.

Kyrie Irving led the 2016 Cavs in FGA, was the closer and actually averaged more points than Lebron if we go by per 36 minutes.

Irving led the team in FGA and closed the Finals.

So lebron led 2 out of 3 title teams in FGA (66.7%) while Kobe led 4 out of 5 title teams in FGA (80%).
