This guy seems pretty adamant he didn't say anything racist, yet the media is running once again calling him that.

He has contacted his attorney and will take this to court.

the jazz already completed their investigation and banned him, it's unlikely this is another covington. You have a leg to stand on if they were still investigating. Why would you believe one random dude over one of the biggest stars in the league who has support from multiple teammates.

Westbrook's story is also just far more logical. Why would he lash out over some generic heckling on camera and incur a fine?

Right because Rus went out of his way to yell at a fan just to be fined 25k because a guy told him to "ice his knees"....

Makes logical sense...Throw 25k away for nothing.Risk losing millions in endorsements, all over being told to ice your knees...

Even if it was ‘get down on your knees’ it’s still not racial (sexual).

I don't know what the atmosphere is like in Utah, but does no one find it odd that someone would be openly racist in a crowd of people?

If the rest of the crowd is being a piece of shit, sure. Shit might get said.

Banter back and forth between the crowd should be fun. Get down on your knees is definitely different to ice your knees. But even if it was get down, he shouldn't be banned for life. You're basically just a trash human if you can say that stuff in front of kids.
