I can't fit any of their shoes or pants because the store seems geared toward small and short people. Since I am a tall i struggle to find shirts at their stores because none of them have the length I need for someone my size. And all of their bed sheets are light colored which is not the ideal color for a man's bed. I prefer solid darker colors like navy blue or black not yellow, white, red, or sky blue.
The scissors are now out and I am about to chop up this card ASAP

store cards suck.
I have had over 20 credit credit cards. ZERO store cards.
Never paid any interest.

Macys depends on the location, you've got to go to one in a good mall.
Or look online, website has some good deals on literally everything.

You should generally try to keep credit card accounts open if there are no security concerns about the account, even if you don't intend to use the card. The account contributes to the number of credit accounts you have, your utilization and the length of your credit history... which together make up about 60% of your credit score. The one account may only have a minor effect on your score, but best practice is to let the store or credit service close the account due to disuse unless there are security concerns.
Also, card holders can often get some pretty good deals and discounts from time to time. While Macy's may not be the spot for you, it could be a place to buy gifts for friends or family, especially during the holidays.

You would think living in Philly that Macys would have a lot to offer. Seems like the Macys in NYC would be the ideal place to go to since they have 8 floors.

I have 2 cards that offer a lot
Discover with $6000 limit that offers cash back every month
Amex with No credit limit
So the Macys card seemed kind of pointless. I been with Amex since 2006 and Discover since 2013

Yeah, it's not really about using the card... Unless there are security concerns with the account, there really is no point in closing the account.
Also, Macy's has deals and sales that can get as high as 40-60% off on goods with use of a Macy's card. I have Discover, AMEX, Visa and Mastercard cards... all cash back with rewards, that I use for various specific rewards, but it's hard to top that 40-60% off on a single item every now and then as a gift for someone. Like you, there's precious little that interests me at Macy's, but I have to admit that the card is great for gifts... especially for women.

Ok I guess I will keep it around for that and just take it out my wallet.
