View Full Version : Lebron 3rd team all nba????
There are a legit 5 forwards that can potentially go ahead of him
1. Greek freak
2. Paul George
3. Durant
4. Kawhi
5 Anthony Davis
He can make it over one, possibly two but it seems for certain he will not make first team all nba.

He’s still the best player on the planet.
i disagree. there is literally no argument for lebron in any category
statistically? no
team? no
all around? no
2 way? no
at any one certain thing? no
lebron is arguably still a top 5 player offensively, but probably wouldn't make the top 50 as a 2way.
right now the only people in the discussion for leagues best player are:
- Giannis
- Harden
- KD
- Steph
- Kawhi
IMO other guys arguably ahead of him are
- Embiid
- PG
- Jokic
- AD
- Lillard

if lebron truly was injured he would be sitting right now with zero chance at making the playoffs
but he's been averaging close to a 30 point triple double since returning so i guess this means he's healthy and his stats never really mattered

Giannis and George will be 1st team, that's a given.
Durant and Leonard will probably be 2nd team before Lebron due to team success.
3th team will be between him, Davis and Griffin.

Yes, Lebron will most likely be 3rd team this year.
He has no argument at all over Giannis or Paul George, so 1st team is out of the question.
For 2nd team Kevin Durant is also clearly ahead of Lebron, while Kawhi is most likely ahead of Lebron. Kawhi and Lebron have played the same amount of games, and their individual stats are similar, but Kawhi has the team success argument in his favor.
For 3rd team Lebron is a lock. AD will only play 20 mins a game the rest of the season, and Griffin is just not as good as Lebron.
It's still possible that Lebron gets 2nd team if Kawhi sits out more games, or if voters decide team success is less relevant for All-NBA, but I doubt it.
It will be interesting to see what he can do next year, another All-NBA selection after this one would make him the all-time leader with 16, but it is not at all certain that he gets there.

SF has been the deepest, most talented position in the NBA since Lebron was drafted.
It's amazing he has had so many 1st team all-NBA's in a row with his position competition.
