Giannis has become so powerful and explosive and the refs routinely let defenders rake him across the arms and play him extremely physical without blowing their whistles. It reminds me of the way Shaq was officiated when he was in his prime. Shaq was so big and strong that he would be beat up by the opposing centers. Giannis has been playing that Shaq bully ball style and it's noticeable how much he gets beat up, I don't think he gets the same kind of calls guys like Harden, Steph, Durant or LeBron get.
