Stockton and Magic were more skilled as passers than LeBron... as well as virtually everyone else, ever.

I wonder what their teams league ranking for assists was during the years they played, and how Lebron compares.

It's even more glaring in the regular season where LeBron is #3 in turnovers, but only #10 in assists.

Stockton has 15806 assists and 4244 turnovers.

LeBron has 8606 assists and 4140 turnovers.

Chris Paul is often overlooked in these conversations, so I'll post his numbers too. 9074 assists. 2281 turnovers. :applause:

I can give you the answer my friend

Lakers during the whole 80's decade placed mostly #1 on team assists, and just a couple times outside the Top 3 (4th both times)

Utah, from 1990 to 1998, placed consistently in the Top 4 on team assists.

Teams under Lebron-ball's dictatorship have consistently been outside the Top 10 on team assists.

Imagine comparing the passing ability of point guards to non point guards:biggums:

For real. They're complaining that a guy who averages nearly 30 ppg isn't ALSO equal in the passing abilities of Magic & Stockton, the two most prolific playmaking PG's of all time :oldlol:

And don't forget game winners, and has the highest single finals game score rank of all time.

Oh yeah and the highest elimination game ppg ever, too

In a single game.

One or two games does not make someone the GOAT. Ask Devin Booker.

He has two ranked higher than MJ, in fact.

Booker made the Finals? Hmm, I didn't know that, new to me :lol

LeBron is the only player in NBA history with two ranked Finals games in the top five.

I guess you could say his Peak was pretty good...

GOAT tier peak, obviously.

And yet he stills trails MJ, Shaq, and KD in Game Score average in all games played in the finals.

Cause he was good enough to make the Finals at 22 and 26 while MJ could only make it in his prime at 28

Durant made it at 23 and put up a game score of 20.7 :confusedshrug:

Hakeem also made the finals at 23. Game score of 20.3 :confusedshrug:

Thank you.

One would think that Lebron led teams would also be top 4 because of his stats, and comparisons to Magic. Even being called the best passer in the league by many. But we all know that Lebron ball lets Lebron pad stats at the expense of the team.

Jordan averaged less assists than Lebron, but I bet his style of play led to more team assists.

Unfortuntely most basketball "fans" are simply just box score watchers who can only explain the "whats" and never the "whys"

Oh his teammates aren't making their shots! Or maybe, just maybe, the team isn't moving the ball enough and aren't finding the most optimal shot to take :facepalm
