Im in no position to argue.

I wanted him to be an all star but now that they made it just backcourt and front with no dedicated center spot he might never make it. I am still required to rep him though as a condition of my membership in the "This league is soft" club.

ANd dont come at me with any soft ass "Hes bigger than them....." shit. Thats how its supposed to be. You lay out little people who dont know to look for you. Thats how it used to be. Supposed to be celebrated. In the words of the late great Patrice...

Take his socks.... (https://youtu.be/t5jZQZ1GY7Q?t=55)

Shouldnt have let him out here with these killers....

How a bigman is supposed to treat a point guard who thinks he can run around without consequence.

probly Shaq, right? or Lakers #13.

there used to be a youtube of joe dumars setting a pick on pippen where they carted scottie off the court for a few minutes. can't find it anymore but it was a blind screen and pip dropped like a poleaxed steer, clean too, Dumars had his hands behind him.
Willis Reed. Mahorn.
guys who you would not think of like Derek Fisher, Mailman, Tim Duncan, Dennis Rodman -- when they set screens you just couldn't get through them even if you knew they were coming.

Curry could be averaging 40 a game if he had Adams on his team

Some guys are "sticky" for lack of a better word. Knew how to not let you off the screen. Wes Unseld is always talked about for solid picks but you rarely see a crushing one. But a guy hits it and stays stuck for like 4 seconds. Duncan had some of that. Just got wide as hell.

Fisher and Stockton were nasty pick setters for guards.

I remember watching Pitt play my Providence Friars that year and seeing Adams knock 6'9" Kadeem Batts right on his ass with a screen like that. Thought he'd look good in a Celtics uniform then. Then Brian Scalabrine went on Toucher & Rich on 98.5 The Sports Hub and absolutely gushed about Adams' pre-draft workout with the Celtics and I was kinda stoked.

Then you OKC f*ckers took him at 12 and we took Kelly No Defense Olynyk with the next pick. :rant

I like the look of concern from the front row. Those old ladies would testify against Adams in open court.

One of them was even pointing fingers towards the murderer.

Know who I’ve recently heard a lot of stories about? Nikola Pekovic.

I always liked him and wondered why he didn’t make it back and the moment I went to check I see everyone who played him saying he was a monster. Amare was interviewed and asked if Dwight was the strongest player in the league and said no….Pekovic was. Dwight himself had a story told about him by SVG. He chewed him out for not boxing out once cs Pek and Dwight came to him privately and said “You don’t understand. He’s the strongest person in the world”.

Andre Drummond:

. "He’s by far the strongest human I played against in my life. He is a very very strong man. I hate playing them every time I saw them on the schedule. Hated it. I knew he would move me around. I felt like a kid. He was just pushing me around. I’m fighting as hard as I can to stop him from backing me into the paint and I can’t stop him. Yeah, he’s very very very strong. He’s the reason I started lifting harder. I can say that to this day, he is the reason why I started lifting weights more seriously,” Drummond told Zach Harper.

Pek had the league shook. He might be the strongest modern player over Adams.

it's sort of a take like basing a players intelligence by his FT% instead of TS%

Yeah Pekovic was a brick wall. Injuries ****ed him up, but he was a good offensive player for a bit. He wouldn't be good in today's league though.
