A 19 year old rookie on a team that traded all its veterans for an injured player is currently only 3 games behind a Lebron James led Lakers.
Truly pathetic.

That boy is the next GOAT.. If they are tanking than the Lakers are also tanking.. Lonzo, Chandler, Ingram, Lance, are all out and injured.. Besides Lance that is three of their starters at one point.. Chandler being down is huge since he was their defensive anchor..

So the Mavericks are tanking even though they likely won't have their 1st round pick :biggums:
Maybe don't trade away an entire team just to make a rookie happy :facepalm

you just have to look at the Nuggets' record to know there's something terribly wrong with LAL that the signing AD will not fix anything
Lebron can't be the centrepiece for a championship team anymore

The worse their record the better their odds they keep the pick. They didn't have a good shot at making the playoffs once New York decided to basically give Porzingis to them for cap space. Then the Mavs turned around got a shit ton of cap space right back for this summer by trading Barnes to Sacto.
So they will now have Luka, Porzingis, and enough space for a max free agent next year. If they get to keep the pick it's a massive bonus.
