What was said to trigger said little fucc bois is that defenders got away with more fouling back then. This upsets those who never saw MJ because they have to live with the fact that LeBron had it easier due to less physical defense being played.

What's your point exactly? Of course it's harder to play defence now. The rule changes have made it nearly impossible to stop anyone. That's the whole point when people say defence in this era is Terrible. It's not that guys can't play defence or don't try to play defence it's that it's harder to play defence because of the rule changes. I don't think anyone is arguing this.

There always have been guys like this in the NBA, but in the 90s they played 3mpg and took 1 shot every 4 games.

Every sport was tougher back then. They were also a lot less skilled. Soccer's a good example. Maradona got whacked by defenders and overcame them by not skipping leg day. Messi has motorcade of refs wherever he goes. But Messi is more skilled imo.
