6. 2018 Finals Sweep
5. Playoffs, Finals Streaks Ending with Lakers
4. Losing to Boston Celtics in 2010 East Semifinals
3. Dropping 2009 East Finals to Orlando Magic
2. The Decision
1. 'Quitting' in 2011 Finals Loss to Dallas Mavericks
List seems solid - Personally I'd put his 2007 Finals performance (22.0 PPG on .356 shooting and all games being pretty close score wise (meaning had he just played his regular season game it would've been a long series). Plus Bowen was in his mid 30's / Lebron was 22 at the time.
Thoughts?

1) 2011 Finals
2) 2010 ECS - Losing as heavy favorites against Boston and LeBron had a sub-par series.
3) 2019 - LA's top 3 players are all going to miss 20-30+ games this season and that's probably the biggest reason why they won't make the playoffs. But it's still a really bad look for his first season in the West.
That's it, really. 2009 ECF and 2018 Finals don't belong at all. 2007 Finals was a bad series, but he was only 22 and just being there was a big enough achievement.

But he played considerably BELOW his 2007 regular season numbers.
Meanwhile Lebron apologists will point out stupid things like "1-9 doe" with Jordan, who was only in his 2nd year in the league in 85-86, missed 64 games with a broken leg, had to go against Bulls mgmt to even play in the playoffs, went up against a 40-1 Celtics team and put in 47PPG and the "God disguised as Jordan" 63 pt game in the garden. In his 2nd NBA year at age 23. Played far BETTER than his regular season numbers and had a 10PPG Orlando Woolridge as his 2nd best player.
How can you reconcile those two? "Just being there was a big enough achievement (4th year)" and "1-9 doe!" with all the aforementioned qualifiers? Those of you, of course, who try to slight the GOAT MJ?:biggums:

You mentioned it yourself. Lebron dragged Boobie Gibson to the finals. Meanwhile when MJ was 2 years older he got swept in the 1st round. Yet a team with ZERO all-stars took Boston the distance. A rag tag team of 0 all-stars > 24 YEAR OLD GOAT?
SamuraiSWISH

As much as I am critical of LeBron, it’s all out of honesty.
So therefore, the 2009 mention is stupid and ridiculous. That was the last season where he was likable, pre-quitting, colluding, manipulating, team hopping etc. Mo Williams is why they lost that series. Bron balled out.
It deprived us basketball fans from having the last season where we could see a prime Kobe Bryant versus prime LeBron James in the NBA finals.

Jordan hadn't even played 100 damn NBA games at that point.
Lebrick had over 335 NBA games under his belt by then.
Jordan had barely just turned 23 (02/63 - 04/86). So no, not 24. Lebron was halfway to 23 - they were actually 8 months apart in age (22 and 6 months / 23 and 2 months). Hate to break that to you.
Lebron's 2007 regular season numbers: 27.3 / 7.3 assists / 6 rebounds on .476 shooting (3.2 TO per game)
2007 Finals numbers (4 games) 22.0 / 7 assists / 6.8 rebounds on .356 shooting / (5.75 staggering turnovers per game) - 88 points total scored.
Jordan 85-86 stats (18 games) 22.7 PPG / 3.6 assists / 2.9 rebound on .457 shooting / (2.5 TO per game)
Jordan 86 first round numbers vs. GOAT 86 Celtics: 44 PPG / 6 assists / 6 rebounds on .505% shooting / 3.2 TO per game. 131 points in 3 games!
One was clearly SHOOK and under performed. One was disguised as God in sneakers.

Anyone who holds LeBron’s 2007 Finals, or Derrick Rose’s 2011 ECF against them, are morons. They were 22 years old. Previously that would’ve been their first or second season out of college. Before HS to Pros or One and Dones.

I'm talking about the 1987 playoffs. That 182 games. Someone born in 02/63 would be...24. If you want to haggle over 20 months not being the same as 2 years. Feel free. If you feel the need to check your agenda to dictate when you use mileage vs physical age to compare guys. Feel free.
You may also feel free to join 3ball in the category of people so incompetent, they need to arm themselves with distorted truths to prove something which is so incredibly easy to do with facts alone: That Michael Jordan is > Lebron.

It's ok. You can skip right to '87 then where a 0 all-star team took 2 games off of the team that swept 24 year old MJ. But if you want to tackle all of 1-9 as well as use actual age then it's pretty simple. In the time it took MJ to go 1-9, Lebron reached the finals.
These arguments are silly because you can clearly see how easily these facts can be manipulated to fit either agenda.
