Giannis really did sprain his ankle. Bucks are playing for a lot more than a meaningless March game with the Lakers. I can understand why they won't risk it.

And if LeBron truly has soreness in the same groin area injured earlier, the Lakers have zero incentive to aggravate it further. Disappointing b/c everyone would like to see those guys battle but it's completely understandable and reasonable why they are sitting out.

This is why fans should typically avoid buying tickets for the last couple weeks of the season. You increase the chance that players get rested for even minor injuries to either save them for the playoffs or if the team's out of contention

Giannis actually hurt his ankle in the Sixers game and had a noticeable limp after the game. They aren't faking anything.

LeBron’s pride is definitely injured ... seeing after that no name milkman stuffed his game-winner attempt in New York the other day for the world to see.

LeBron really hasn't looked good the last couple of games after looking pretty damn good in the 2 weeks prior to that. Wouldn't be surprised at all if the groin truly is bothering him.

And I also don't see a point in him playing any games at all. Just shut him down for the season.

Why sit him out? He could continue to pad his stat lines that he so preciously loves. And he’s an entertainer. Fan support the product. He has an obligation to show up while healthy for games that people bought tickets to see him play.

He’s going to have a ridiculously long summer of rest LOL remember he activated playoff mode, and crashed and burned? He’ll get his rest.

Finish the season out like a man of your word, and responsibility.

Jordan didn’t even have to play for Washington, let alone that last season at 40 years old when they weren’t going to make the playoffs. He still played all 82 games because he knew people came to see him play, and he’s an actual competitor.
