Crazy to think that in just one season Harden has erased Kobe's peak. Annnd he won games doing it.

If Kobe's Lakers averaged 15 more points like the rest of today's league is, that would be an additional 5+ points for Kobe, or 40+ per game, based on Kobe scoring 35% of his team's points

So Kobe would be at 40+ today.. MJ, obviously, significantly above that.. and lebron would be below MJ/Kobe/harden/durant, etc.. giannis and others

Mike D'Antoni is the ultimate kobe killer and we never knew it

I'm almost positive he gave Kobe a 3-1 lead in 2006 just he could snatch it away from his soul :lol

The year Kobe averaged 35.4...

AI averaged 33.0
LeBron averaged 31.4
Arenas averaged 29.3

This year, Paul George is the closet at 28.2 to Harden's 36.5

Some interesting food for thought.

mj's ftr that season: .427 (0.8 3s attempted/gm)

beard's career: .528 (7.2 3s attempted/gm)

absurd that a dude who takes that ridiculous amount of 3s is getting to the line that often. think about how much flopping you have to do to accomplish that.

mike and kobe took roughly the same amount of shots in their best scoring seasons. kobe took far more 3s. kobe had a lower ftr that season, as logic would dictate.

kobe in '06: .377 ftr (6.5 3s/gm)
kobe's career: .382 (4.1 3s/gm)

go ahead and bullshit your way through this one. :lol

You're so stuck on "oh he shoots so many threes, why he get calls!?!!?" :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

Harden takes 3s and lay-ups. He drives to the rim more than any other perimeter player in the league. He doesn't shoot the mass amount of mid-range shots that MJ/Kobe did. He drives more than Kobe ever did. The majority of his FTs are given off of drives/attacking the rim.

But hey keep selling yourself this false narrative, champ.

I don't even want to imagine how many consecutive 60 point games 06 Kobe would have in today's game, especially in this Rockets team tailor-made towards Harden's iso ability and loaded with shooters... but Kobe was a better iso player and also shot 35% from 3s. Imagine giving him the greenlight to shoot 17 3s which no one did 10 years ago and also having more space to operate due to all these shooters

Hell, 06 LeBron would probably averge 40 ppg on this Rockets team. Only reason 34 year old Bron isn't doing this is, one, he's not on this Rockets team and two he's also way past his prime

It's a matter of circumstance. Let's say PG was a lone star on an average team like AI in 2006, you don't think he could average 33 ppg? How about Durant? There are plenty of great scorers who could do the same, but they're either on stacked teams or have a 2nd big scorer on their team.

George had a 30-game stretch of averaging 33 ppg prior to his injury.

^^^^ good point

But look at the comp.. Paul George is normally a 25 ppg guy that is having his career year - yet he's #2

Whereas AI and lebron are better scorers than George

A real gap over great players was when MJ averageed 37 and bird/Dominique/English/McHale averaged 26-29

Lmfaoooo you mean the last year he was in Miami when he averaged that.

The lies you guys will tell cuz you think people don't fact check you.

Not to mention Paul averages 16 not 15. Round up. On 41.9%. I mean if you tell lies just on this alone what else do you lie about on your multiple posts throughout the multitude of accounts.

Odom actually averaged 15, 9, 5 in 05-06.

Sorry, Smush was option #3 with Chris Mihm rounding out the only other double digits scoring. Wow.

Kobe. That actually is impressive just making the playoffs with those guys.

Funny seeing the fans of one fraud move on to another, at least Harden has spent his entire career in the west. Also way better statpadder than LeBron ever was although I don't think he was better than LeBron at his... peak LeBron didn't statpad all that much tbh

But the LeBrony mentioning Lamar, I hope you paid attention to how we went from averaging 17/10/4 on 51.6 TS% to averaging 15/10/5 on 55.0 TS% in the 3 years as the 2nd option. Some of it is due to the rule changes, but a lot of it is due to Kobe making teammates better
