Except Denver has a legitimate MVP candidate, and the Hawks didn't even have one that was close. Denver's way younger as well. Millsap/Korver/Carroll/Horford were all 28-33 years old. Teague was the youngest starter at 26. Jokic just turned 24, Murray just turned 22, Harris is still only 24. Monte Morris is 23, Malik Beasley 24. Millsap/Plumlee/Barton are the only rotation players that are in there prime/older and Barton just turned 28 this year.

Just a bad comparison IMO. Those Hawks teams were basically peaking, right time and right moment. That's not to say the Nuggets are better or anything just it doesn't fit. A better comparison would be the season the Nuggets won 57 games back in '12-13. Even than tho the Nuggets just play a different style of basketball than the Hawks ever did.
