And not one thread about it? Honestly, this isn't even a basketball forum.

Idk what it is, but how did no one mention this?

Also no mention of how horrible Jimmer Fredette was???

Harden's dropped that amount like a half dozen times. Hell, even Kemba dropped 60 this year. It's just not THAT notable an occurrence anymore

Because 1. his team got blown out so not many people care, and 2. like SouBeachTalents said, in this era, 59 points, while it's still impressive yes, isn't an AMAZING feat anymore.

Harden: 29
Kemba: 28

Booker: 22

dropped 70 when he was 20.

No one cares about empty stat players who lose because they play negative defense

He had 59 on the 25th. On the 22nd Harden had 61. On the 20th Harden had 57. On the 17th Giannis had 54. Nobody even mentioned Aldridge had 48 a couple days ago...not that anyone cared when he had 56 either.

Its an ugly comparison but 50 point games are like mass shootings these days. There are so many you need something outside the number of people hurt/points scored to give it a hook.

When Columbine happened America came to a halt. Schools around the nation called off classes for grief counseling....news covered nothing else for a week or two.

Now? If you kill 12-13 people it better be racially or politically motivated to stay on TV for 3 days. Shooting 12 people at random might not even make the main body of the news. Its just a twitter condolences thing.

Same with big games. We see too many...too easily accomplished.

You better have 68 on a barrage of insane shots...and win....or I might not even watch the highlights. I mean ill watch the sportscenter highlights...but I wont go to youtube and see every basket like its really something to remember.

weird comparison but Booker was getting doubled and triple teamed and he made those shots seem effortless. Dropping 59 on Rudy Gobert is no walk in the park.

Legit though no trolling, that is probably the most unstoppable I've seen a player live in recent memory

kyrie doesn't like Phoenix and I doubt we get the #1 pick again.

I will say however, if Phoenix does get the #1 pick, I'll stream the draft live on twitch while I down a 12pk of beer.
