chris broussard said it best... averaging tons of stats and losing is actually a negative to lebrons legacy. it exposes him as a leastern conference fraud

i've been saying forever that his passing stagnates the offense and his rebounds hurt his teams defense by sagging off. his scoring seems efficient but he passes up opportunities or shys away from contact at key moments when he's afraid to take free throws. like the other game when he was blocked. that wasn't a normal lebron move. it was soft to avoid getting fouled. the overall numbers look good but is lebron actually helping by chasing 30 point triple doubles. it didn't work for oscar/westbrook or harden. and since lebron started doing it at the beginning of his 2nd stint in cleveland his teams haven't won nearly as much

How many 30 point triple doubles does he have this season

Yes.
This season exposes his (L)east achievements for what they are.

chasing them is just as bad. in fact when lebron has 26/8/8 it means he's not even getting the rebounds he's cherry picking, and his teammates are being put in the wrong spots/ and he's not hitting his free throws

the time of possession/usage is still the same. he's still forcing it.

OP has made like 10 threads saying Lebron isn't important and everyone on this board should ignore Lebron and move on

Clearly Kobe's 25-5-4 on 38% is superior to that of James' numbers

With Kenny less is more :confusedshrug:

It's not that they are completely empty, just that it doesn't reflect it's true value. He plays a game specifically design to get the stats that would have been gotten by someone else on the team, at the expense of his teammate not thriving as much. In a sense it's genius, because on first, second, and third glance it's going to make people think you're at a Jordan level, while making you hundreds of millions of dollars. But they are a bit empty, and doesn't lead to dynasties. And he was lucky enough to play in the East for most of his career.

Like look at this gif for example

It makes me wonder if he just wanted to stay close to the basket so that he would have a better chance at a rebound.

The guy really is a headcase. He fights the hardest battles on here, tho and never gives up debating Kobe vs LBJ :lol

That's like debating who is a bigger/better company, Nike or Under Armour :lol

But still, day in and day out, Kenny shows up to fight for Kobe :lol

I voted NO.

Lebron is one of the top 5 all-time bballers in the history of the NBA.

IMO if he stayed in Miami , he would of had guys coming to play with him , and quit frankly could of won several more chips.
His moving back to Cav's land was an emotional one not a legacy one.

are you sure it didn't have anything to do with the cavs landing the #1 picks in 2011, 2013, 2014 and the #4 pick in 2011 and 2012 which lebron used 2 of them to swing for kevin love during a phone call prior to even signing with the team?

So why are the Cavs so bad now?

If his stats are so empy then why are the teams he's on so bad without him?

Why did Miami go from 4 straight finals to missing the playoffs?

Why did Cleveland go from 60 wins to 11 wins without LeBron?

i dunno if you realize this since you assume the 2016 lakers are the same roster as this years group

but this years cavs were totally different as well for much of the year

well ontop of injuries/change over i explained before in this very thread and countless others that his teams become so dependent on his stagnating bran ball that they're seemingly lost when he goes out. they have to learn an entirely new philosophy on the side or on the fly whenever he rests. when he leaves his teams high and dry out of the blue like he has they can't just fire the token head coach that was put in place to let lebron run all over them. they have to give them a chance first. then they realize they're not prepared because everything they and their team knew about spacing/ball movement/player movement/shot selection/positioning is thrown out the window

lebron is a negative impact on and off the court in this sense

Think about all the close games that lebron played in the playoffs and Finals

It's a ton of close games

Now what if lebron used an additional 3 to 20 possessions more in those games instead of deferring those possessions to lesser teammates?

Wouldn't lebron have won many of those close games that he lost??????... Well that's what jordan DID... His usage was 10-30% higher than Lebron's depending on the year, which amounts to 3 to 20 more possessions used per game.... AT BETTER EFFICIENCY PER POSSESSION!!!!!

Thats why MJ won more tight games - he was more active/used more possessions at better efficiency per possession

goat gonna goat

Roundball? Your thoughts?

How many of close games would lebron have won if he used an additional 3 to 20 possessions like MJ dud?
