So does Billy Donovan know this or is he just scared to tell Westbrook to limit his shots:confusedshrug:

This idiot has to know that the team plays better when westbrook shoots less and should be fired if OKC is out in the 1st round

There was a time when volume scoring on low efficiency would cut it (See: Jordan, Kobe, Iverson, Melo, etc) but now-a-days it just doesn't work.

I have to agree OP, Donovan needs to nut up and limit Goatbrook's shot attempts if they want to get out of the 1st round and avoid his own firing.

A team with Westbrook on it will never be able to win a championship. Sad but true.

2012 had a chance if Harden doesn't disappear.
2016 too, if he and KD don't pull off one of the major choke jobs of basketball all time histories
And one year I forget which, KD was hurt and then one year Westbroook was hurt. So they did have chances, prior.

As it stands now, he would have to be a PASS first 3rd option to win it.

Westbrook's only career chance at a ring will be when he signs on as a 4th option latew in his career with a rebuilt San Antonio.

The most overrated player in the league for years now. Going to average a triple double for the 3rd straight season and nobody gives a shit because it's so manufactured. It's easy to grab 10rpg when your bigs are giving them to you.

Should also include that his efficiency numbers have been whack.

Goatbrook's last 3 seasons FG%
.425
.449
.426

Yikes

If you ever watch the games, you know instead of reading stats... he does come out passing. You want him to force feed guys that can't shoot? He sets up Adams and Grant and the other guy all the time... but if they aren't making shots he won't go down quietly. I didn't mention PG because that's implied and plus PG13 can create his own shots.

It was the same way with Kobe and MJ. Bulls were at their best when everyone else was contributing as well.
