Bit of a kblaze style thread if you will.
Westbrook - a point guard who became a double digit rebounder.
Blake Griffin - no need to explain. guy was nothing but dunks and now is the complete point forward.
Brooke Lopez - went from 0.1 to 5 three-point shots in one season on good efficiency.
DRose - went from the most explosive guard in the league to an unathletic finesse scorer
Eric Gordon - from a driving guard to a spot up shooter.
Ron Harper - from a main scorer to a lockdown defender.
I'd go with either Blake or DRose. Their transformation and how they managed to overcome their issues to remain elite has been nothing short of incredible.

Kobe went from a 7ppg 35% inefficient chucker in his rookie season to......
A 17ppg on 37% inefficient chucker in his 20th season
In short.. he remained a chucker, but managed to average 10ppg more

Hey dipshit, if you have a logical argument against it, post it. Otherwise, shove that bottle in your stupid mouth so that no more bullshit comes out. ok?

We just gonna ignore how Bron came in from highschool with no post moves or range and developed a decent 3 and good post work?

Good thread.
This might be a boring answer,
But I will go with Kawahi Leonard.
It's boring, streamlined, linear progression, but this guy was basically MKG when he came into the league.
Now he can defend like Rodman and score like Kobe.
It's sad that San Antonio didn't get to enjoy the best years of the guy they developed so well...

All time I suppose it is Wilt. Went from 40 shots a game scoring 60 twice a week to a guy shooting only 14 times a game in 46 minutes and leading the nba in assists....and ended up a Russell type doing nothing but rebounding and playing d leading to outlet passes and not even trying to score.
Nobody else played to such extremes.

Thats a good pick, shame on me for forgetting him. Its probably because he evolved as you say very gradually. What Blake/Rose did was a complete change of their playing style out of necessity. They had to adapt and they did. Kawhi just improved basically, didn't need to switch his entire basketball identity.

What about Paul George?
He went from Fresno State
To rookie year
8-4-3 on 45% :(
To Pacers days
24-6-6 on 46% :applause:
To now
28-8-7 on 44% (Top 5 MVP candidate at one point)

D rose went from an MVP to a mediocre PG on a dumpster fire franchise, so probably him.

Kobe in rookie year was 7.6 ppg and he peaked at 35.4 so find me one with a better jump peak then that 28 points boost up

DRose would have been out of the league or even worse become a cripple if he tried to continue with his previous game. The way he adapted to his physical shortcomings is insane.

If he played like that early on, could he have won more'
