Most young superstars cant even make the playoffs early (Kyrie, Booker, Love to name a few) and then we have some who finally get there and get demolished (MJ, Melo, CP3, AD, Hakeem, etc). But LeBron set the bar so high as a young star because he was able to add wins to an otherwise god awful team.

Look at it this way, at age 22 LeBron went to the Finals with Boobie Gibson and Ira Newbie and ended that year with a playoff record of 12-8 (60%)

Jordan, at age 23 had a playfoff record of 1-9 (10%) :(

We dont really make fun of CP3 for being out in 1st round 5 times in his first 9 playoff appearances the same way we don't make fun of Hakeem for his many, many first round exits because they are not on LeBron's tier.

Should we stop making fun of MJ for his 1-9 since he too is not on the same tier of LeBron and should be obviously held to a CP3/Anthony Davis type of standard instead?

Hit me up when LeBron finds a way to get back into the playoffs instead of watching from home.

The other guy was winning championships at 34. Not watching the whole thing :oldlol:

If LeBron took 2 years off to rest you don't think he'd be destroying right now? Jordan never even made it to 4 straight Finals while LeBron made it to 8. Does that mean anything at all to you? :coleman:

Looking for sympathy points?

8 straight Finals, then switches conferences and IMMEDIATELY misses the playoffs :oldlol: That in itself says quite a lot

Yeah you completely side stepped his question tho.

Did MJ benefit from taking 2 years off to rest? The guy only made 3 Finals in a row at the most while Bron did 8. That alone is tiresome

How dare you sully the name of Boobie Gibson, who carried the Cavs to the Finals in game 6.

31 points, on 7 for 9 shooting, and 5 for 5 from three. One of the great carry games of all time.

Did LeBron set the bar too high? A Finals appearance and 12-8 playoff run at age 22.

Is this why MJ cant seem to shake his 23 year old 1-9 because start?

The answer to your question is the same as the answer to why Lebron can't make the playoffs in the West

Everyone else has accepted this obvious reality, why can't you?
