In all seriousness though, I understand the Lakers and LeBron's logic. There's literally nothing to play for, probably half the squad will be gone next year, and LeBron did have a fairly serious injury to recover from. Plus, he really should just relax for once, instead of his deep playoff runs for the last 8 years. It may actually help him rejuvenate. Really nothing funny or controversial about that.

Doesn't mean this whole season wasn't a sh*tshow and LeBron bears some serious responsibility for that. But regardless, they have to prepare for the future, and LeBron playing 6 meaningless games doesn't do that.
