Actually had Paul George over Melo, but changed my mind. Even though I'm not a Melo fan he accomplished more individually than George throughout the decade.

This was a very weak era for Centers so it shouldn't be a surprise to have Cousins there. You can make an argument for Dwight Howard being on the 2nd team, that's how weak the 5 spot is this decade.

I considered it but I put Harden above Wade only because Wade's best seasons were in the 2000s and he was only really a major factor up until around 2013.

I would take peak Wade over peak Westbrook all day, but putting him ahead of Westbrook for this decade seems ridiculous.

I will admit I was thinking more like 2000-2020 (which is obviously wrong) so that's on me.

Having said that though...Wade from 2011 was pretty spectacular and he was very efficient, played both sides of the floor. Hmmm, it's tougher now.

Well, the first team seem quite set: I understand how the 5 spot can be a lot of trouble, the only talented centers we have didn't do anything collectively:

AD went to the PO 3 times
Boogie never sniffed the Playoffs
D.Howard has been irrelevant since 2014

Embiid, Jokic and KAT didn't do enough on this decade to be considered

Maybe people above me are right and the 5th spot should be given to someone who did more than AD: CP3 and Kawhi comes to mind

Aldridge is an interesting choice, and one I'd definitely have to consider for my 2nd team. I didn't have a center on my first team, so it'd probably be between him and Davis. Say what you want, but LMA has been quietly plugging away for a long time now. Howard really only had 2, 2.5 peak years in the decade, 4 more (Lakers/Rockets tenure) where he was still All-Star quality, but he's largely spent the last half a decade declining or underachieving due to ego issues.

This one I'm torn on. AD seems like the simple answer, but I want to put either Gasol brother. Pau was still playing at a high level during the early part of this decade, but the second half of the decade not so much. Marc played consistently well for most of the decade, made deep playoff runs and won a DPOY. AD has been dominant in all facets but doesn't have the playoff resume.

I'm gonna say Marc Gasol.
