He's an awkward guy with an elusive comfort zone. That's why he's so guarded. His dumbass fronting is probably behind him, but it explains why he's regarded as a mental question mark and something of an enigma to teammates.
He's been passing better than ever. Basically making riskier decisions and finding they sometimes work. A quick second pass on a fast break or a tight bounce to the screener. He's not passing over shots to anxiously find the better one so much anymore. He thought he was something other than a good teammate.
I'd be surprised if he didn't stay in Golden State. A guy like that has to like what he's got right now. He's also a real contrarion, and the fact that everyone anticipates his desire to be the man means he may contrive not to give a shit.
