Clearly you know nothing about Larry Brown. Carmelo would have been coming off the bench for sure his rookie season. Larry Brown is notorious for not playing rookies. The fact that Carmelo was such a one dimensional chucker coming out of college wasn't exactly going to enamor him to Brown either. The obvious choice in hindsight to draft is obviously Wade.
