This dude does a great job comparing eras accounting for difference in things like amount of possessions, minutes played, efficiency and rule changes.
He's his 2019 adjusted peak statistical season for:

Watch the video to see how he came up with the 2019 adjustment for those seasons. There's some others in the video.

I love when people compare between the eras properly instead of spewing nonsense. Good post, will watch the video after work.

This.
Jokic, JJ Barea, Jason Terry, Boris Diaw, Andre Miller, Roy Hibbert, Mike Conley, etc etc are absolutely JUGGERNAUT BEHEMOTHS compared to the soup can 90s.

1987 isn’t Jordan’s best statistical season LOL or even his best period. It’s his highest scoring average season.
He also averaged 4.9 apg that season. How is that rounded down to 4?
1988, 1989, 1990 in terms of individual dominance and statistical production are well ahead of it.

The Soupercan-Sonics held MJ to 26 on 41% and never made it out of the 2nd round again.
Let that sink in.
Don't get me started on the Trail Blazers or the Jazz :lol

It's not an exact science but it's around the ballpark. I would add a couple assists to both Kobe and Jordan. Kids these days shoot the ball well.

62 isn't Wilt's best season ever. The 67 season is. But I think the video was primarily comparing scoring across eras for teams and all-time scoring seasons.
As for the apg, it's adjusted for 2019 according to whatever formula he was using to adjust assists. But given the three point shooting and spacing today, I would say add 1 or two to all three players.

Agreed. And of course it can't take into context what would actually happen if those players were time travelled or were drafted into the league today. They would obviously adjust their games somewhat to the modern play, which would effect their stats. As would the teams they play on.
And Wilt probably wouldn't be allowed to play 41.5 minutes or whatever the adjustment was in the video. That's just what his 48 mpg back then was equivalent to now.
It's good for getting a sense of how those individual seasons compared statistically across eras. We can say Wilt put up roughly the equivalent of 39 a game in 2019 back in 1962. So for all those doubters saying Wilt's 50.4 wasn't shit because inflated era, it would still be 2-4 points better than Harden's today. And obviously 2019 is the modern inflated era. So were the 80s.
