Lebron's need for scoring/closing help is a bigger need and harder to find than Jordan's def rebounding needs

so Lebron needs more help... :confusedshrug:

Your tactic of taking specific things that happened as if they prove nothing else could have is weird to me. Forget Lebron for a moment...

Im quite sure many versions of a team without a 5 assist side kick could win with Michael Jordan. MJ and Hakeem could have won with BJ/Grant/Willie Burton im sure.

Its just a weird place to start an argument that doesnt even need to be had. I dont know how dead you want this horse but I think youre grinding its bones down for fertilizer at this point.

By taking passing out of the equation (both won with a passing sidekick), it's easy to see who needed more substantive help:

Lebron needed hard-to-find scoring and closing help, while MJ needed the easier to find defensive rebounding help.. this shows why lebron was harder to build around and needed more help..

Furthermore, the fact that lebron's ball-dominant skillset didn't always fit well with the very scoring help he needed, only further underscores how much harder it was to build around him, and how his help needs were greater than mj's

Both guys won with 5 assist teammates

But Lebron needed scoring and closing help, which is harder to find than MJ's need for defensive rebounding help

So lebron needs more help than MJ

He had 2 perennial all-stars, so no one views it as a carry job like 07' or 89', where there were truly no all-stars

Most people view Kyrie > Curry on the championship level btw.. Kyrie is viewed as a big game player, maybe the biggest in the league

How many all stars were on that 2016 Cavs team? I'll wait for your answer.

The 94' bulls won 55 because they had developed the best brand of ball and organic teamwork required to build any dynasty

Otoh, the "spot-up shooter" format of lebron-ball doesn't develop teammates, teams or teamwork, so it can't compete well on the championship level or build a dynasty

Infact, lebron-ball can't make the playoffs in the West, let alone the Finals
