Who's better at accumulating stats?
Micheal Jordan or Russell Westbrook

MJ if he played Westbrook's style and had today's spacing and defense
In 1989, he played pg for 24 games and averaged 30/9/11 just like Westbrook, except MJ shot 10 percentage points better, and DIDN'T have today's spacing or lack of D/physicality/open paints

And MJ was several tiers better as a midrange shooter and defender

We're talking about in 2019 though, not the 80s soupcan era where 5'3 Muggsy was roaming the paint and 10 ppg Jeff Hornacek was a #2 option on a FINALS team (the best team MJ ever faced by your words by the way :lol)
So basically instead of the soupcan era, the actual athletes era. No mechanics will be making all star games in 2019 sir. Scouts aren't scouring the nearest Jiffy Lube for the next all-star.

Westbrook wouldn't average a double-double against this, let alone triple-double - good luck getting all the way to the rack.. :yaohappy:

Looks like westie would have time pull up for a lot of midrange like everyone else back then... Oh wait.. he can't shoot, so he's up shit creek.. no all-time status for westie back then..

Is that the period of games he'd actively ask the scorekeepers how close he was to double digit assists and rebounds so he could go back out there and get em? Or, in simpler terms, stat-padding

And yet you got 'slow ass' white boy Luka, coming out of Europe as a rookie, carving up these 'athletes' with skill and fundamentals.
