10. Andre Iguodala

Key facts: 9/4/4 48% shooting, FMVP, 83 games

What the athletic veteran lacks in sheer numbers he more than makes up for in high IQ play and defensive prowess. Add momentum-shifting 3s/stops and versatility on both ends of the floor and the 2014-15 FMVP has a solid case for appearing on this list.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/c/ce/James_Harden_%2830852408515%29.jpg/538px-James_Harden_%2830852408515%29.jpg

9. James Harden

Key facts: 28/5/7/2 on .572 TS%, 56 games

For all his post season struggles, Harden's numbers are solid. Losing to a Kawhi-less Spurs in a blow-out fashion will always put a dent in his resume, but the reigning MVP almost made up for it by taking the Warriors to 7 in a thriller to remember, and is poised to be their greatest challenge again this year.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/ab/Kawhi_Leonard_Dunk_cropped.jpg/468px-Kawhi_Leonard_Dunk_cropped.jpg

8. Kawhi Leonard

Key facts: 20/7/3/2 on 50%, FMVP, 52 games

The 2x DPOY probably would've been ranked higher on this list had he not missed last year (and GS series) due to injury. A consistent performer taking on a bigger role in a new system this year, and injury doesn't seem to have slowed him down any. Another FMVP would catapult his stock to a different stratosphere; 2X FMVP + 2X DPOY is an exceedingly rare combination.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/ac/Chris_Paul_%2831585840292%29.jpg/758px-Chris_Paul_%2831585840292%29.jpg

7. Chris Paul

Key facts: 22/5/8/2 on .588 TS%, 51 games

The 33yo veteran made the conference finals only once in his career, yet that lone appearance almost made up for all past shortcomings. Always a threat with the ball in his hands, and scrappy without it, the diminutive PG's playoff lack of success more often than not has been the result of injuries and grinding in a tough conference than anything else. Still, this might be his last shot at redemption given his age, along with a more seasoned Harden and established system.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/68/Kyrie_Irving_2015.jpg/800px-Kyrie_Irving_2015.jpg

6. Kyrie Irving

Key facts: 24/3/5/2 on .577 TS%, 52 games

It's hard to overstate Kyrie's value to Cleveland's lone title run. 30ppg on 52 FG%, 53% from 3, and making all FTs in the last 3 Finals games. And it seemed they needed everyone of them. 1.7spg/1.3bpg don't do his D on Curry justice in those games either. Injuries derailed his PO some, but when he was on the floor, at his best he was often the difference maker in the clutch.

5. Klay Thompson

Key facts: 20/4/2 on .561 TS%, 90 games

Thompson's good defense and blistering shooting outbursts has demoralized many an opponent. Just ask KD and Co. when he torched them with an endless barrage of 3s in games 6 & 7, when a Finals appearance seemed all but secured. His improved D in the last two seasons helped make up for the Warriors relative lack of depth after the Warriors signed Durant (and then Iggy and Livingston to bigger deals.)

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/8d/Stephen_Curry_dribbling_2016.jpg/332px-Stephen_Curry_dribbling_2016.jpg

4. Stephen Curry

Key facts: 27/5/6/2 on .613 TS%, 78 games

True, the two-time MVP has yet to win his first FMVP, and yes he under-performed when the stakes were highest in '16, injured or not. But no one epitomizes GS's transformative brand of basketball dominance than Curry does. His wizardy from range instills fear and his link-up with teammates opens up scoring opportunities unlike any perimeter-oriented scorer on record. The occasional unforced TO in the most inopportune of times are moments his coach definitely would like to forget, but flawed artistry is rarely unappreciated, and this seems to be the case here.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/9c/Marcin_Gortat_vs._Draymond_Green.jpg/451px-Marcin_Gortat_vs._Draymond_Green.jpg

3. Draymond Green

Key facts: 13/10/6/2/1.5 on .546 TS%, 89 games

The lowest-scoring starter on this list is also the most fearless (to a fault) and consistent (certainly up to this point on the list.) What Curry brings to the Warriors identity on offense, Green brings on D and alpha personality. Never one to shrink in big games, his vocal leadership style often provided the missing ingrendient in a team with a lot of talent but sometimes not enough grit. His excellent passing, rebounding and ability to anchor the defense night in and out and his remarkable consistency is a big reason the Warriors are a 3x champion with a chance to 3peat. He's been that good.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/6/67/Kevin_Durant_confronts_LeBron_James_%282015%29.jpg/800px-Kevin_Durant_confronts_LeBron_James_%282015%29.jpg

2. Kevin Durant

Key facts: 29/8/4.5 on .590 TS%, 2x FMVP, 84 games

Durant has a chance to win a 3rd consecutive FMVP, and in doing so can join the likes of Shaq and MJ. Not much more needs to be said in his favor. He'll likely continue to pile on awards and titles if he stays put. But he'll probably want to persue a challenge elsewhere just like a certain other superstar before him did after validating his greatness. You can question Durant's method, but you can't question the talent or the results (in a Warriors uniform at least.) And that's all that matters. Mostly.

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/dd/LeBron_James_and_Gorgui_Dieng.jpg/470px-LeBron_James_and_Gorgui_Dieng.jpg

1. LeBron James

Key facts: 30/9/8/2 on .594 TS%, FMVP, 101 games

It's ironic that the defacto King is also the only player on the list set to take a sabbatical this year. Such is the burden of making the playoffs (and Finals) for so long. Alas all streaks come to an end, yet LeBron remains #1 on our list, for the simple fact that no one else had been consistently this good in the last 5 years while also putting together a title run for the ages. Love him or hate him he remains at the helm, at least until a champion is crown come June, watching from afar while licking his chops and sipping wine.

Feel free to post your list.

Klay is so overrated lol. Nobody remembers his 2017 playoffs where he couldn't hit a shot. Because his teammates carried him.

There's no way Kyrie is over CP3. He scored 2 more ppg being the second fiddle on his team while being vastly inferior as s playmaker and defensive player. Besides one final series his impact hasn't even been that high throughout the Cavs playoff runs.

Holy shit Smoke :lol The guy who ripped through the east every year and upset the best team of our generation isnt better than the perrenial playoff choke artist known as Chris Paul

Youre litterally the biggest retard when you actually try to talk ball. Good lord

You mean, LeBron James? The best player in the world when he was on the Cavs. Let me guess, you probably think Kyrie was the best player on the team, right? You replace CP3 with Kyrie on those Clipper teams and those teams are much worse. Going on about Kyrie "ripping" through the weak east while playing second fiddle to the best player in the world and then calling Chris Paul who had Blake Griffin in the tough west a playoff choker is adorable.

What's funny? His impact throughout the playoffs wasn't as high as Chris Pauls. That's just a fact. He was playing second fiddle to the best player in the world in the weak east while CP3 was playing in the tough west with Blake Griffin and a bunch of bums who would choke in the playoffs. (2015 Rocket series) Calling CP3 a playoff choker when he's been one of the best playoff performers in the league his entire career is just complete stupidity.

Green at 3 and Klay at 4 may make this one of the most awful lists anyone has ever made on here. Ever.
