ORtg and DRtg both use points per 100 possessions, so it accounts for pace. For example, this year Giannis and Harden are at:
Giannis: ORtg 121 - DRtg 99 = +22 (net, per 100 possessions)
Harden: ORtg 118 - DRtg 108 = +10 (net, per 100 possessions)
Big thanks to DMAVS41 for pointing out KG and Dirk in the last thread and the reason for the update
I only looked at #1 options/superstars, took their 3 best years, and found:
Top 5 all-time best 3 run peak average
#1a. Chris Paul = 23.0
#1b. Jordan = 23.0
#2. LeBron =21.6
#3. Durant = 21.3
#4. Garnett = 21.0 (+24, 20, 19) / 3
HM:
#5. Barkley = 20.0
#6. Dirk = 20.0 (+20, +21, +19 ) / 3
#7. Magic = 19.6
It's nice to look back at the highest of high-level impact players. Does anyone surprise you? Could I add anyone else to the list? I will admit I could not check every single player.
