You know people only respect the people they were there to see. These kids on here act like Jordan is from the land before time. What should we expect? 75% of the posters on here saw ***** for the first time on pornhub.

Wilt played Kareem, Kareem played Hakeem, Hakeem played with someone who's in the league TODAY(VC).

Rick Mahorn played on a team with both the 1969 and 2001 MVP.

That’s insane.

There's more mindblowing stuff than that if you really look into it.

There were Civil War vets living into the 1950's/60's..

I believe the last widow of a Civil War vet(married him when she was much younger) died a few years ago..

We're not that far removed.

That is pretty amazing. I was just telling someone on here yesterday my mom knew actual slaves as a child.

Yeah, it's also no secret that Magic and Bird got their first titles and accolades against, more or less, 70's guys. While the 70's NBA "doesn't count", these titles, for some reason, do. Pretty interesting also that both posted their most prolific seasons later on, mainly against 80's players. Someone would expect that their individual improvement would be at least neutered by the NBA competition entering from the "crap era" to the "golden era".
