Only the 3rd freshman to ever do so.

Hes gonna be hearing all he does is dunk no matter what he actually does. He will be making highlight passes next year as people still say he has no skill....

Just the life of a god tier athlete. The first thing you hear is that they cant actually play....as if we dont also have plenty of great athletes in the world who actually cant play.

You cant just be athletic...and therefore good at basketball. If you could half the linebackers and TEs in the NFL would be in the NBA making 4 times the money and not being destroyed physically. Have linebackers as strong as Shaq, jumping like Vince Carter, and faster than Westbrook in bodies like Blake Griffin. Dude Montez Sweat 6'6'' 260 running a 4.4 40, with the same vertical as Westbrook, and a 7 foot wingspan. Think hes gonna go make NFL money when he could make NBA money?

Hes probably just not skilled at basketball which morons would have you believe is the case with Zion.

You may be able to athletic ability yourself to college. You cant make yourself a household name.

Not quite as gifted as 18yo Lebron at passing but too raw to evaluate at 18-19yo, so out the gate he doesn't have that A-list takeover ability through both playmaking + scoring

100% he's got the highest ceiling of any prospect since SVSM Lebron. But, LBJ got that type of hype in highschool, not Duke

Zion be an all-star by 20yo, the torch will be passed respectfully

I've hated on Trae so much be Zion paired with him would be a thing of beauty. Best landing spot since the young core is already pretty good.

Zion is going to snatch a lot of Doncic's, Embiid's, Giannis, etc limelight. Similar to baby Lebron did to Kobe.

This will open the floodgates for insecure lifelong haters upset with their fav guy not getting their proper 'due' shine

Worst outcome is Zion gets 2020 Team USA bid and bulldozes the likes of Jokic, Giannis and Doncic in Tokyo Olympics

Good take

LeBron was a different animal.. more skilled and fluid

Zion is stronger and more explosive than young Bron though, which is saying something

Our takes on ISH have the highest success rate so it's no suprise (again), we see eye to eye on this :pimp: :confusedshrug:

IMHO Zion's NBA career will flourish best on 1-2 Twin tower punch tandem: like a AD-Zion, Ayton-Zion, etc. With a pass first floor general at guard (young Rondo) and a couple spot up wings. The Reddish/Barrett combo guard system gave us a pretty good underwhelming look at how not to build around Zion. I don't think Hawks have the pieces to complement Zion

But then again whoever lands him will probably have to rehaul thier entire system to maximize him and their teams success. That's just how it goes with caliber players like him

:applause:

Good stuff I agree. Can't have Zion getting triple teamed in the paint with 30% shooters Barrett and Jones spotting up

Suns and Mavs are the best fits imo

I would agree that he is the best prospect since Lebron.

He couldn't put up 22.6 ppg shooting 68% without skills.

Mavs landing Zion would be terrifying

I would shamelessly become a hardcore Dallas stan overnight

On any other scrub team i'd probably stan from the shadows, still shamelessly

There is too much running, too many spaced floors, too many total possessions, too many stretch bigs with no foot speed, and too many guards without the strength to keep him out of the lane for him to not produce to some degree. I can

There is too much running, too many spaced floors, too many total possessions, too many stretch bigs with no foot speed, and too many guards without the strength to keep him out of the lane for him to not produce to some degree. I can’t imagine any situation where he’s not a good player. Legend maybe....or not. But can you really imagine that with all this running and these 140 point nights....he won’t be able to put the ball in the basket?

That’s what I’m wondering about with the people who expect him to bust.

What does that look like to you? 12-16ppg of no impact highlights?

I think a lot of fans that criticize him don't believe in a new dimentional player can come in with a fresh style and dominate

They think to be the best you have to emulate Jordan to the T and that's the only blueprint

"where's his midrange shot"
"where's his high post game"

They want to relieve their favorite guy, through another similar guy. And most fans favorite style of 'game' doesn't really change.

The thought of a Shaq 2.0 with better footwork, passing, range, speed and handles doesn't register. Zion isn't done growing
