I've seen enough to put him there. He has to solidify it in the playoffs, but his two-way impact is enormous right now.

Are you confident Kawhi is healthy enough to be the guy he was two years ago?

DeMar DeFrozen in the top 25? Never go full retard. He's not even top 100 if you go by actual impact. The Spurs are actually better with him off the court just like the Raptors were.

That's a contradiction. You haven't seen enough then. Nobody has.

And you'll see Giannis struggle in half-court situations in tight games... likely won't make the finals

Durant and LeBron's games are far more refined and built for deep playoff runs... Giannis is a regular season guy like Davis, Harden, and others

Giannis was outstanding in the playoffs last year. I assume that will continue this year now that the team around him and the system he is playing in compliment his style more.

If not, then he would have to drop below Durant for sure and probably Curry and Harden.

I'm not sold that we are ever going to see the Lebron from Game One of the 2018 Finals again. If we do, he is #1 on the list. But that dude has so many miles on him and he actually got hurt this year, which previously I wasn't sure was possible.

I get where you are coming from though. I think I'm just more sold on Giannis than you are and less convinced that LeBron is still peak or near peak LeBron.

I have very little confidence Wall will ever return to form. I think his prime is over.

I had Oladipo in there at #25 over DeRozan initially. Maybe I should have left him there.

I think Horford and Lowry are past their primes as well, but I would love to have either on my team in the playoffs.

Good list.

lol DeRozan is so overrated Spurs literally have a better net rating when he's on the bench

He's a choker who consistently shrinks in big moments + his defense is garbage as well

His lack of a 3 point shot doesn't help either

That's a fair point but that goes beyond what we are talking about. That can translate to being more marketable.

Also now you are talking about team fit, which isn't part of your initial question.

I just think Curry elevates your offense so much that there are only a few guys (the ones who are elite on both ends) that I can take over him.

I think it's more about that than it is about fit or marketability. Remember that the Warriors won 73 games with Steph as the clear top guy. He's brings the potential for being an elite team if you have him, even without another Superstar in the mix.

I'm not a huge LeBron fan, I love watching him and I think he's one of the four greatest players ever, but he bugs me with how he acts off the court and behind the scenes.

That's a good case for him. I don't dive real deep into the numbers on everyone until after the regular season, I could see him moving up for sure based on that case.

I disagree with the impact of his defense though, in this NBA offense is more valuable, even though center is the most important defensive position and one of the least important offensive positions.

I agree that Steph can really maximize offensive potential but at the same time he has a lot of perfect pieces around him.

-Iggy off the bench
-DPOY Dray (Elite defender and elite 3&D guy)
-Klay (Elite shooter and 3&D guy)
-Barnes/Barbosa/Bogut (The three Bs depth)

He has played in good situations for him, but those other guys haven't looked nearly as good without him either right before or since.

Without seeing prime Steph in a different situation, I think it's hard to say what he'd be.

Jokic needs to be higher this season. He's leading his team in PPG, APG, RPG, SPG as a C. How many players in the league can say that this season? His defense is much improved this year as well. Nuggets weren't even a playoff lock this season yet are currently the 2nd seed and he's playing with no other All-Stars. 12 triple doubles which we haven't seen at C since Wilt Chamberlain, and probably another 20 games where he was 1-2 assists/rebounds shy.

Someone like George is overrated. He's playing with Westbrook which takes defensive attention away from him. OKC has been a disappointment this season.

No he's just really efficient because all of his points come from dunks

He's a awful free throw shooter and can't create his own offense like a Jokic or an Embiid

dunks are the most efficient shot in the game. He gets penalized for him having the most effective shot in the game? Their whole offense revolves around him. He allows others to create. Results are all that matter and they speak for themselves. Jazz have sucked for more than 4 years without him
