No he didn't it happens a fair bit in the NBA and in basketball in general. I tried to tell some of these idiots on here that obviously don't play or even watch basketball but they're in denial like most of the people on here.

Except there's a huge difference when LeBron is top 10 in all time mins played and 34 years old and this piece of trash Wiggins is 23 and in the prime of his youth.

The complete lack of awareness is just pathetic. The most hilarious thing about Wiggins defensively is if nothing else he was projected to be elite on this end and instead he's an absolute sack of shit.

Didn't say it happens "so much" just that it does in fact happen from time to time. It's not a rare thing at all. Coaches will do this to there players when trying to implement a new defence. They'll literally push them into position. I realize most of y'all haven't played competitive ball past highschool but I assure you it does happen. Here's another one. Could probably find more if I wanted to watch hours of tape but I really don't care that much. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aC_-4qfSdjw this one and the lebron one are more aggressive than most but a defender pushing another defender into defensive position is nothing new and again not a rare occurrence at all.

I'm actually not a bran Stan at all I've stated on here many times that I think Kobe, mj, magic and Kareem are all better. I wouldn't even argue a few more like Russell duncan and possibly bird. How is that a Stan? Yes he's my favorite active player (although Greek is probably right there with him) but I'm hardly a Stan.

I plaid cegep which is a college league and then cis. Canadian college and University arnt as good as NCAA but it's still a high level. I've played against NCAA players and NBA players in summer tourneys also. Based on the low iq comments on here Im willing to bet I've played on a higher level than most people on this forum.

Yes I agree that it was worse with LeBron. Most players wouldn't do it to someone of brons status. As far as not happening frequently that depends on your definition. It doesn't happen every game or anything but it does happen enough that it's a big deal to see. It was only a big deal with LeBron because it's him and his defence has been shit lately

No but it has obviously happened more than 3 times. Just because there's only three highlights on YouTube of this happening it doesn't mean that that's the only times it's happened. If you went through every game played this season I bet you'd find more instances of it happening. It doesn't matter though. I could put 20 examples of it happening and you guys would just deny it. At first it was the lebron one was the only time it's happened. Now there's been 2 other known times it's happened this year and people on here just deny it even though it's on video.

Ive never down played LeBron's defence, it's absolutely terrible. The clip was just to show another example of it and to show that this kind of thing happens a fair bit. It's by no means a rarity. Anyone whos played high level competitive ball knows this.

If we're playing footage of summer league we know voilently shoving a teammate to play defense isn't common occurance. Come on now.

And forget LeBron for a moment. The inherent disrespect alone dictates veterans (even regular vet dudes) don't get shoved into playing defense period, let alone by very young players. And it being the face of the league on the receiving end of all people, and in a must-win game? That's not normal.

On lower level ball, to nobody's, sure I buy it happens much more frequently. NBA level, esp happening to veterans, shoved like that? Never seen it. Sorry.

In fact I'd say violently shoving even a young teammate like that in the NBA is no more common than a bat/hawk stopping a game judging by footage shown so far.

Either way you look at it, it's disgraceful and nothing to brush aside.

The argument was never about violently pushing someone to the ground. It was just that players will at times push/guide a teammate into defensive position for whatever reason. Maybe it's because there out of position. Maybe it's because a player dosnt have time to fight through a screen and it's easier to push his teammate who's closer to the offensive player. Whatever the reason it does infact happen. The summer league footage was just another example. There are 3 there NBA videos from this year showing it also. Just because there only 4 videos of this happening it doesn't mean it hasn't happen more often which I assure you it has(way more than a bat or hawk btw)

And no it doesn't usually happen to someone of LeBron's status. I've already said that it wasn't a good look for him especially the way he's been playing defence the last few years. The argument was never about wether it's a bad look for LeBron. I just said this kind of thing happens fairly often and some people on here disagree. I already showed 4 videos of it happening. I could show 20 and it wouldn't matter though. People on here just believe what they want to believe no matter what proof you give them.

A player getting shoved like that is NOT a common occurance in the NBA. That's pretty much all it should boil down to. One could argue milder versions of it do happen more frequently, all the time even, but that's really impertinent because it's not the same thing.

No I cant but I said from the get that it was a bad look for LeBron because of that fact. Again that was never the argument. The argument was that players do in fact get pushed or shoved into defensive position enough that it's not a shock to see. They may not always get pushed as hard as the clips I've shown but it does happen as you say in a milder way. In this case it was only a shock because of who it was and because he was pushed pretty hard. Ive never argued that fact.

This all started from the kuzma pushes LeBron thread and I said exactly this then and a bunch of people argued that it doesn't happen

This is a play that no one would notice of it weren't LeBron so there's not gonna be any clips of guys pushing guys towards a defender. Of have to watch probably 20 games to find 5 instances and I don't care that much just to prove a stupid point. This certainly does happen a fair amount in competitive bball. I've never seen it happen to someone of brons caliber though and not sure if I ever ever seen a push that hard but it does happen. You've probably never played competitive ball of you think it doesn't
