All we talk about is NBA highlights...for obvious reasons....NBA forum and all. But the NBA players we discuss play other places too. Quite a few amazing plays got missed because they are outside our usual glance. Let me know what you remember....
Im gonna skip the most famous things like VC over Weis for the most part.
This may last a while....or I may quit and watch Billions after 15 minutes. We will find out together.
First....a couple plays I always feel a need to bring up every year or two:
Melvin Levitt(pistons) coming from the heavens on one of the meanest putbacks ever in college...which I can show you....but you need the audio too since it has one of the wildest reactions and Magic Johnson(?) lying about seeing it coming...

I was born and grew up in Cincinnati until I was 19. I watched the Bearcats pretty religiously back in those days. Kenyon Martin, Melvin Levett, Ruben Patterson, Danny Fortson, Steve Logan, Pete Mickael, Damon Flint, etc.
A few of my friends and i were watching this game live and we all lost it. Levett was probably the most exciting to watch because he was super athletic. And that dunk solidified his nickname The Helicopter.
One of the greatest, if not the greatest in-game college dunk ever.

Of course it did. And it should. But Vince was nuts that whole time with team USA:

"The Catch" - In the 1981 NFC Championship game, San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dwight Clark caught a game-winning touchdown pass from quarterback Joe Montana with 51 seconds left in the game, in what has become one of the most iconic plays in NFL history.

The Melvin Levitt dunk I will always remember because I was born and lived in Cincy until I was 19 and I watched that game live. One of his nicknames was The Helicopter. And that dunk instantly reminded me of his nickname when he did it.
That was a fun era watching Bearcats basketball. Those were the years of Ruben Patterson, Danny Fortson, Kenyon Martin, Donald Little, Darnell Burton, Damon Flint, Art Long, Pete Michael, Kenny Satterfield, DeMarr Johnson, Jason Maxwell, Steve Logan,
