Kyrie going back to his master LeBran, nice. Good Riddance. I can't stand him on the Celts.

Aside from the fact that it's not going to happen, the Lakers would be foolish to dump Lonzo Ball. There's too much upside there. His defensive effort is tremendous, a true rarity among most players in the league, and on top of that he actively looks to get others engaged. All he needs to do is keep improving his shooting... which he has been... and stay healthy.

Kyrie doesn't play consistent defense and he doesn't consistently get others involved. The only reason he'd be arguably a better fit for LeBron is his fearlessness in the closing moments and the fact that he can shoot the ball. Kyrie would be the ideal SG for the Lakers... but not PG. Not in place of Lonzo.

Lonzo, contract considered, is a better long term fit for the Lakers.

They'd be foolish. But all these words mean nothing, because Kyrie isn't re-opening that door.

Either way. Lakers get 1 guy... even godamn Kemba Walker and we're looking like a top 2 if they can stay healthy.

Irving....Kemba... Jimmy those guys are just back up plans.

All I know is LeBron is way too confident to think that he doesnt have a plan lined up. Bump this thread when we get another big F.A this summer.

this would be a fun team to watch. always been a fan of Bron and Kyrie.

But add Lonzo, Kuzma, and Ingram to that combo...damn

Lonzo would cover up Kyrie's defensive shortcomings.

Either way, Warriors are losing KD next year so Lakers need to assemble a contender.

I want it to happen, Ky and LeBron are my favourite duo of all time I'd love to see then together again

I still believe Kyrie and KD are going to team up on the Clippers though unfortunately :(

I think Lakers would probably get Kawhi or they can trade for AD

HEY! He went 6-12 in Bron's critical absence when the team needed him most! That's a 27-win pace! He is soooo good!

I'm still trying hard to trade for AD first. They can have anyone on roster not named LeBron and can have any draft picks they want. I would try to keep Lonzo too because he would fit well next to almost anyone, especially a scorer like Kyrie.

If we can't get Pelicans to budge, to hell with them..

We've seen Irving next to LBJ and they could only scrap out 1 ring with a cakewalks to the finals out of the east... how is this same combo going to work in the west when LBJ is clearly going into the twilight of career and focusing on off the court business?

Have fun Kyrie, I could see that being a serious disaster for these guys and their legacies.
