Where would you rank that far as best two years by any trio?

Weird and really specific question I know but I got caught up in a discussion on Wade earlier and I always lean on who he was in 9 and 10....and it was argued he still wasn’t Kobe....Lebron was mentioned of course.

I don’t care in what order you put the 3....that’s a strong argument for that little time period. All 3 more or less healthy and doing some “Of allllll time” shit weekly.

How many times could you form a trio that nice.

87 and 88 Michael, Magic and Bird?

2001 and 2002 Shaq, Kobe, and Duncan?

You giving say....16 and 17 Steph, Lebron, and KD that status?

We had a pretty wild stretch there we may not have fully appreciated.

This will boil down to who you're a fan of. Not much to contribute, but I'll stick around for the fireworks.

2009 Playoff LeBron posted better numbers than any other player in NBA history. Look it up.

#1 PER all-time And it wasn't even close to second best, being MJ's best (37 to 32 ish)

2009 Playoff Bron was on another planet good

#1 all time PER
#1 al time WS/48

Well yeah depending on when you came up there are a lot of options but there are plenty of years the worst of those three players would be arguably the best player in the league.

The past 20 years?

Realistically you could take Lebron and pick the other two random out of a hat

2009 Wade was a continuation of where he was heading back in 2007 before the injuries mid season. Alot of people were saying he was the best player coming off the championship. And I actually do think he was better than Lebron at that point. Remember that epic 2006 duel between then when each guy went off for 40+? Yeah that was a few years before what you're referring to, but Wade at his best could hang with anyone.

The 2009 version of those players is arguably the best version for each one.

That was a godly trio. Any one of those guys is better than any perimeter player now including harden and kd. This lakers version of lebron is garbage compared to the all-around force that he was that year.

I can't say any stronger. (Wilt, Kareem and Oscar maybe)

But I enjoyed 2006-7 a lot. Nash, Dirk and Kobe. All of them with impressive stuff all the time. Plus the Nash vs. Dirk playoff series.

Chris Paul in 08 and 09 was much better than Kobrick in 09, 10. The only reason he didn't have an even better 10 season is he tore his mcl and was never the same thereafter.
