if they were the worst defensive team in existence?
They often ranked near the bottom in allowing the most points and in blocked shots, so there's no denying that they didn't have a good interior defense with an aging Dan Issel at center before Wayne Cooper joined the team in 84-85, but how could they give up the most points and at the same time hold these league ranks for steals?
81-82: 14th
82-83: 6th
83-84: 9th
84-85: 1st
