They are on a 25-4 run on the Kings. They are playing their worst players. So much for tanking:lol

They need Denver to win though, or they stay at the 4.

We need to lose to the Kings and Denver win to get a Rockets vs OKC first round.

So it looks like the Nuggets avoid having to face either Houston or GS before the WCF. Those two will have to deal with each other just to get to the WCF.

Losing on purpose to Portland seems to have worked out well for them.

I'm more pissed that the Rockets get yet another easy road than I am Portland didn't get Utah.:facepalm

Portland is screwed. No Nurkic and OKC round 1? RIP

And on top of that OKC has been falling apart since the all star game and PG is most likely injured. I don't think Utah is necessarily easier than OKC.

When OKC and the Spurs is considered the easy road you know the West is stacked

They would have to play them either way, maybe CP stays fresh in the 2nd round.

Just saw that. I guess there's no easy roads in the West. First round should be fun though.

Right, the Rockets should have tanked to the no. 8 seed, so CP would be really fresh.

Portland rested their ENTIRE team in fear of Oklahoma City. They've already been beaten mentally.

Could be back-to-back swept years for y'all.

They don't have Nurkic. The Thunder have Steven Adams. This is more about how they are going to survive with no defense in the paint.

The Blazers have a better backcourt than OKC they are going to get crushed in the paint.

We know what's going to happen to the Rockets. Cp3 gets hurt. Harden scores a lot. They lose. Rinse and repeat.

Russ loves facing Lillard too. Gonna be a monster series for him.

Lillard going to average 30ppg against Westbrook. So what.

He averaged 35ppg vs Westbrook this year alone.:oldlol:

He dropped 51 on him.

That's fine. OKC's defense is going to be much more difficult in the playoffs with more allowed physicality. And we know Lillard doesn't do very well with that.

I don't know about that. Certain coaches are better at doubling him than others. Doc Rivers being one of the best. He has looked better prepared for that this year.

The Blazers have nothing to lose. Nurkic went down and the expectations are 0 now. Westbrook on the other hand hasn't done a damn thing his entire career. OKC needs to win this series. What would this season be if OKC loses this series?

Westbrook:

Lose in the Finals with 2 MVP teammates.

Blow a 3-1 lead to the Warriors.

Lose every other year he's ever been in the playoffs.

Lillard has played with one all-star in his entire career. Lillard lost 5 starting quality players and made the playoffs the next season. Lillard just led a team with no all-stars to the third seed.

Russ has a Finals appearance and an MVP. Two things Lillard will likely never see in his career.

Lillard didn't have Kevin Durant and James Harden on his team.

Westbrook has underachieved his entire career.

Underachieved? :oldlol: :oldlol:

MVP and 3 straight triple-double seasons for a player people thought was a huge reach at #4 when he was drafted. Okay then.

This league is about championships. No one cares about those achievments. They're frosting on the cake.

No one is talking about Charles Barkley or Karl Malone anymore.

They talk about Jordan, Lebron, and Kobe. Players that have rings.

No one is going to care about Westbrook, Harden, or Lillard if they don't win rings.
