I'm thrilled at the thought of not getting swept by Golden State or steam rolled by Houston, so a matchup with the Nuggets is pretty damn sweet right now.

The Spurs have been pretty damn gutless on the road though, and with Denver having their first playoff appearance in some time the atmosphere will be amped.

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst.

Spurs could actually make the WCF with that path lol. It’d be crazy tho and I very much doubt it’ll happen. I still pick the Nuggets but the Spurs will likely take at least two.

It won't happen. You have to remember that it's the playoffs and the Spurs have Mr. Demar DeFrozan on their team to **** things up and keep them from winning.

Yeah but I realized they don’t have HC so I edited my post. If they were better on the road it’d be more feasible. Don’t trust DeRozan in the playoffs at all either.

I thought about this too.

I actually have the Spurs beating the Nuggets. Why:

- Denver is young and inexperienced, make a lot of mistakes and are playing a team that will capitalize on that
- They have solid depth, but will their bench of former G-Leaguers show up?
- Aldridge red hot lately
- Derrick White is about to put on a show

Perhaps a bit of a homer opinion here, but don't sleep on the Spurs if they do get past the Nuggets...they match up with OKC well and Portland would get dismantled.
Yeah. I think the Spurs probably have the best shot at an upset on either side of the bracket (not counting Portland OKC. Portland is missing their second best player and OKC winning wouldn’t be a surprise). Do I see it happening? Idk. I really don’t trust DeRozan in the playoffs mane. So I hesitate to pick the Spurs. I have to think more about it. If they beat Denver I don’t think they’ll be facing Portland lol.
