or NOT hitting the big shot,
or successfully being exploited for a broke jumper?
Lebron won doing all of these things in 2013 Finals...
#LeFraud.. he didn't deserve it in 2013, and needed 2 bailouts by Kyrie and Silver to win in 2016

The most important thing a #1 option does is score
defensive rebounds should be delegated to bigs, and ball movement generates assists and a winnable brand better than 1 player dominating the ball in the halfcourt
The reality is that the Heat lost with lebron on the floor (net negative), yet he still won the series.. so it's statistical fact that lebron was completely undeserving of winning the series.. :confusedshrug:

Also, who is on defense? Kawhi, Green, Duncan? Or
Hornacek and Byron Russell?

The most important thing is getting rebounds and assists
Once the rebounds and assists are even, then the tie breaker is the PPG

The Jazz frontcourt demolished both Duncan and Shaq
Lebron never faced anywhere NEAR the frontcourts that MJ faced
And Drexler was a much better 2-way player than 14' Kawhi (12 ppg and an unknown until lebron guarded him)... And Payton > 14' Kawhi.. :confusedshrug:

Which Finals does LeBron win with 4 rebounds and 2 assists
Several, if he played with goat scoring, goat defense, goat teamwork and goat clutch like MJ
scoring - a record 38% of team's pts
defense - didn't let Byron Russell get FMVP
teamwork - goat brand of ball; whereas Lebron's teams get massively out-assisted
clutch - MJ has numerous clutch shots in Finals; Lebron has zero

Ok.. and Jordan would have been able to win several finals averaging 25ppg on 45% (lebrons 2013 Finals stats) if he could also get the requisite 11 rebounds and 7 assists :confusedshrug:

No, because the bulls would've been down 0-3 in every Finals if MJ averaged 16 on 39% thru 3 games
And no, because Lebron didn't close... :confusedshrug:
a different HOF closed (Ray Allen)... The bulls didn't have any HOF teammates to hit the goat 3-pointer that was needed if MJ only averaged 23 on 43 thru 6 games (like bron did)
.
MJ should be a poor man’s DeRozan in this era with his lack of skills. Dude was hopeless from 3PT range.

Wait, LeBron didn't have to deal with hand checking and is playing in a league where MJ would average 45 ppg and he STILL only managed to be a net negative?

Here's how you know that MJ could've been elite if he wanted to be:
- he shot 43% from three in the 91-93 Finals - so when it mattered, or when tested, he was lights out
- anytime he averaged 3+ attempts per game, he shot 35-38%... he averaged less than 1.5 attempts every year except 1990 and 1993 - those were the only 2 years where he took more than just bailout threes and he shot 35.2 and 37.6 percent.. so he was a 36-37% shooter by barely focusing on it..
- the stats show that MJ had a goat jumper: he made 727 jumpers in 1997, or nearly twice as much as Lebron or Curry's highest volume season at better efficiency than lebron's best season.. MJ was the goat jumpshooter in 1997
- and he had the most flawless form ever.. goat form for the goat
So not "hopeless".. Ben Simmons is hopeless.. MJ's jumper was literally goat

Lebron 2006 (http://stats.nba.com/player/2544/shooting/?Season=2005-06&SeasonType=Regular%20Season): 41.7%, 423/1166 <----- lebron's highest VOLUME year

When MJ was 34, he made 727 jumpshots at a 52% efg - that's twice the volume of lebron or curry's highest season, at better efficiency than lebron's best season (see stats in previous post above)
So goat jumpshooting - that's how MJ remained the best player at 35 (MVP/scoring champ/FMVP)

Don't get mad because the stats proved you wrong.. :kobe:
And in previous eras, people viewed basketball as basketball.. i.e. 3-pointers are a gimmick and people correctly viewed them as such back in the day..
But yeah, MJ's goat form and jumpshot would easily adopt the gimmick and be a goat jumpshooter today just like he was back then

How is scoring more points per shot a gimmick? 90s players just were not advanced enough/good at it.

Again, MJ and everyone viewed the shot as a gimmick, so MJ took mostly bailouts
But anytime he put a little effort into it (3+ attempts), he shot 35-38%
And remember - 97' MJ made twice as many jumpers as lebron or curry's highest volume seasons, with better efficiency than lebron's best season (see the stats earlier on this page)..
So given that MJ was already a goat jumpshooter with elite FT and form, he would easily be an elite 3-point shooter today.. :confusedshrug:

So no, not the 98' Finals.. and that's without being a net negative or not hitting the big shot
