These. The average NBA player back then was already pursuing a career, the NBA was their side hustle. Most of the dudes didn't even have effective modes of transportation for their HOME games, that is until Bill Wennington came along. Honestly surprised he isn't enshrined in the HOF yet, half the league was driving cars straight from the Wennington lot back then. Sure they were fixer uppers, "point a to b" type cars, but they were DEALS. DEALS I tell ya. You simply can't overlook his impact on the game from a cultural standpoint.
