WTF? Some guy just randomly hucked a cute child over the mall railing 3 stories up

What the hell is this country coming to?
The guy apparently didn't know the 5 year old child or have any altercation with his mom. He just grabbed this cute kid and tossed him over the railing 3 stories up at the Mall of America

Luckily a bystander tackled the guy and reportedly beat the shit out of him before he could get away. But the hero left before police could interview him.


Little Landen Hoffmann of Woodbury, Minnesota, was tossed from the balcony on Friday and police arrested 24-year-old Emmanuel Deshawn Aranda, who is from the Minneapolis metro area.

Aranda was charged with attempted homicide and is currently being held at the Bloomington Police Department.

A bystander who police say witnessed Aranda push the child stopped him from fleeing the scene.

Bloomington Police Chief Jeff Potts said Saturday: 'We’re very appreciative of his efforts to try to intervene and help out in a very difficult situation.'

The family says the guy is mentally ill. That's apparent by his actions but I want to know why he was allowed to go to the mall alone. If you think your family member is mentally ill or violent he shouldn't be allowed to be in public alone.
