Badass Linda Hamilton is back. Too bad Furlong isn't also in some capacity.

They'll never be able to recapture the magic that was Judgement Day but I'm always hopeful.

same here bro. huge terminator fan. my brother had judgement day on VHS when were kids and we would watch it often. ever since, i've watched all the films after judgement day and even after being dissapointed, i remained hopeful the next one would be good :oldlol:

i'm excited for this and no matter what the reviews say, i will watch in.

i gave up on Terminator after the Christian Bale one, such a good concept to work with and the dialogue was pure unwelcomed cringe

Eeeek. At this point you might as well bring Furlong back.

Am I the only person who prefers I to II?

It depends on the day to be honest. As a child and young adult I definitely leaned part 2. As I've gotten older, I'm about 50/50.

1 is a scary thriller. 2 is a badass action flick. They are both great in their own ways. Same thing with Alien I and II. It worked well, both are probably some of the best blockbuster sequels of all time. Not blatantly rehashing the original as much as possible worked out.

I felt there was a sense of dread throughout the first movie. I don't know why, but for me, that feeling is entirely missing from Judgment Day. It's intangible... but it's there.

I also preferred Arnold as the antagonist. He was born for that role.

I have The Terminator slightly ahead of T2.

Both some of my favorite movies ever

I gave up after Rise of the Machines, but Damn, Sarah Conner still has it.

Same here!

Maybe a 51/49 to Terminator 1.

Exactly. T1 has this psychological horror/terror aspect, this feeling of doom slowly closing in. T2 is a striaght up action flick. Its great, but still, T1 >.
