There’s enough ignorance surrounding the entire space that you can probably make more short term money surrounding all the what I like to call scamcoins... so basically everything except BTC... over the next few years... but the longer we stretch this out the more probable they all fade except the one legit one...

It's ok. You're still super early. Bitcoin is going to have another rise and crash... and people will say it's dead again... only to repeat the process yet again... but eventually the crashes will stop. That may be 5 to 10 years down the line, maybe even a few more... but it will happen.

At which point BTC will be worth so much you'll all be kicking yourselves.

BTW, I don't know how much you've read on this subject... but get yourself a hardware wallet. Don't keep whatever you've got, even if it's $100 worth, on an exchange. Just don't do it.

I have long since stopped trying to convince people I know in real life to buy Bitcoin. In fact, I've just stopped talking about it with literally everyone except my best friend who is essentially closer than blood at this point. The exposure and risk of anyone at all knowing that I owned this early on is too high. The last thing I need is some assholes trying to pull up on me with a gun or a wrench or whatever the **** later on down the line once it truly explodes.

The genie is out of the bottle. The information is out there and it's only going to become more widespread. I don't need to put myself in harm's way to educate people. Everyone I've ever talked to in real life has just laughed at me or ignored me anyways except my dad.

I bought in at 2k, 11k, 8k, 7k, 4.5k, 3.7k, and again 5k.. it'll be really interesting to see where BTC is in 5-10 years. It seems like the only coin that's going to be around forever. The rest of the coins look like pipe dreams.

BTC is the only one really in it for the long haul.

The reason being is that it has a first mover advantage, which tends not to matter so much in tech when something better comes along... however... in this case...

The biggest value in the network is the users and the developers. The vast majority of the top minds work on BTC. The number of users ensuring that the miners and the developers play nice by running nodes dwarfs the other cryptos.

The rest of them are trash.

Bitcoin is not a set in stone thing. It is going to continue to evolve and it's going to have every single positive aspect of every shit coin woven into its' fabric. The rest are just scams.

No. Most transactions will happen on the lightning network and other second/third layer ecosystems as BTC continues to develop.

Additionally, schnorr signatures & MAST along with other improvements are still on the horizon.

I have no idea what's going on with the price short term. I just know where it's going long term.
