They've always needed another player that they can just give the ball to without Dame or CJ being involved.

Surprisingly, they're doing just that at times and Kanter is drawing doubles that lead to open shots.(I say surprisingly because he's white and Dame and CJ are glory hogs) Kanter can't be guarded one on one; he's that good on the block.

Zach Collins is another white being held back and I think he could be a special player, but I don't expect Dame or CJ to allow that.

If Blazers make it all the way to the WCF, which is looking likely, Warriors or Rockets are going to render Kanter useless. The Rockets for sure would put him in so many pick and rolls that Stotts would have to sit him.

lol Rodney Hood is a bum. He is absolutely not a guy you can give the ball to and say go to work. You should know that better than anyone being a Jazz fan.
